this is my problem scenario,

you're running *your* program. you have an excel file loaded in the
backgound (or in another open window). you need a *third* process
open and running that is constantly monitoring the joystick position
(x, y and z). at whatever time interval you define, it feeds the x y
and z values to the open excel spreadsheet *as they occur* so that
excel can plot the data in real time.

i have joystick connected & now need the data to be in excel. most
probably the solution will be in VBA macro.

can anyone help ?
